Privacy policy
How we handle what you share with us when you chat with us on WhatsApp and book a wash. In short: we use it to look after your car, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are
Karat Kar Kare is a mobile car wash in Enugu, Nigeria. For anything about your details, message us on WhatsApp at 0904 209 1723.
What we collect
- Your WhatsApp messages with us, including any photos, voice notes, documents and locations you send, and your WhatsApp name and number.
- Booking details: your area and address, a landmark, any estate access code, your car (make, model, saloon or SUV), the wash you chose and the times we agree.
- Photos of your car that your washer takes before and after a wash.
- Payments: what you paid and when, and any receipt you send us. We never ask for card details or bank passwords.
- Ratings and feedback about your washes, and notes that help us serve you.
- If you reached us through one of our adverts, which advert it was.
How we use it
- To reply to you, book your wash, send your washer to the right place, remind you before a wash, and confirm your payment.
- To keep a record of each wash. The before and after photos protect you and us if there's ever a question about damage.
- To run the business: plans, accounts, and knowing which adverts bring people to us.
- To message you about your bookings and, now and then, about our weekly plans or a wash after a while. If you'd rather not get those, tell us and we'll stop.
- We only use photos of your car in our adverts or social media if you've said yes.
Who sees it
- The Karat Kar Kare team.
- Your washer, but only what the job needs: your first name, address and access details, and your car. Not your phone number.
- The services we use to run Karat Kar Kare, only so they can do that work for us: WhatsApp (Meta), which carries our messages; Anthropic, whose AI assistant helps us read messages and draft replies; Telegram, for our own team alerts; and our web host, where our records are kept.
We don't sell your data
We never sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you use our service, and after that only for as long as we need them for our records and accounts.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your data
You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Just send us a WhatsApp message saying so. We'll reply to confirm, and complete the request within 30 days.
If we must keep a record of a payment for our accounts, we'll keep only that and tell you. The messages on your own phone stay there; you can delete them yourself in WhatsApp.
Keeping it safe
Our records sit behind a password that only our team has. Washers have their own private page that shows only their jobs.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or any tracking. Like any web host, ours keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
